iPad Mini - Review

I was up near Windsor Castle today near the shops and came across an Apple reseller shop and went inside and tried out the new iPad Mini!
I so nearly dropped it, it was so light! It's like going to pick up a box that appears heavy but in actual fact is empty when you go to pick it up. I could not believe how light it was compared to my iPad 2.
I was also very surprised how small it was when I saw it. I knew it was small but not that small! The border on the side was tiny and looked quite cool. In fact a great feature that this mini has is that because the sides are tiny, if your finger is overlapping onto the screen the iPad will sense it and will let you carry on doing what you were doing and not affect it in anyway. Now that's what you call.... Clever!
The only one available on show was the black iPad mini and I wanted to see the white but... Oh well. With this black iPad the fingerprints and scratches on it were really visible and it was distracting. On my white iPad 2 the finger marks and scratches don't show up half as much as they do on the black, so this is why I stick to my decision to get a white if I were to buy one soon.
Overall the tablet looked and felt expensive - I wonder why? I think that the iPad mini is very much worth the price it is and I hope to be buying one soon. I highly recommend the iPad mini if you are considering getting one.

iPad Mini: Black vs White

Big decisions - don't you just hate them? You are faced with decisions everyday and the last one you want to deal with is the colour of the tablet you are going to buy. Thing is, you will be using this tablet all the time - will you regret buying one colour over the other or will the colour just be taken up by the case anyway?
Personally, I have not got an iPad Mini yet but as I hope to save up to buy one the decision is on my mind. Everyone has their own opinions and there is always pros and cons. But that doesn't answer the question.
I still don't know which one I would choose, and I am still deciding if I were to get one.
Well, is it really important which colour you buy - it may be covered by the case anyway? I suppose not, but I always like the look and the recognition, so that whenever somebody comes across me using the tablet - its noticeable its an iPad.
Here is my dilemma, I own a Black iPod Touch 4G and a White iPad 2 and I really don't know which I prefer. If you have the same problem on which colour to decide - please comment below.
Anyway, here is a really effective video describing all pros and cons on each colour.

If I had to decide right now, although the look on the iPad Mini Black is really nice on the back side - scratches and fingerprints appear easily and more. So if I had to decide I would pick White. What colour would you pick? - Please comment.

I noticed an amazing website that really helped in my decision and I quote:
"At the end of the day, the only real answer is get the colour you like better. Everything else is manufactured anxiety at this point. Just close your eyes, picture your iPad in your hand and carefully look at what colour you're picturing.
Then buy that"

Google Music - Released in UK

Google released their Google Play (Music) in the United Kingdom yesterday. Google Music has been out in the USA for over a year now but because of the Google Nexus 7 and other Google devices, they are more popular in the USA so Google held back releasing Google Music to the UK. Due to more people buying Google devices in the UK, yesterday, Google brought out this feature (site) to the UK and more countries in Europe.
Google Music is basically in my own words a cloud storage for all your music. You can upload up to 20,000  songs on to Google Music and whenever your in a Wi-Fi hotspot or connected to the internet you can pop on to Google Music and play your songs. The reason this is so special is because the music is not stored on your device, therefore taking up space on it. The music is all stored on the Internet and can fit up to 20,000 songs. Another amazing feature is that when you upload your music on to it, Google Music searches for the same song on its music files and finds the best quality music of that track. That is basically what Google Music is. Another good feature is that Google Music is not just limited to Google devices, you can even access it on iOS devices like an iPod, iPhone and iPad or iPad Mini. The only downside is that if you have music by a band that is not well known, Google may not have it and therefore wont upload it because it wont have it stored on it music. Hopefully though soon, Google will add more and more artists, bands and albums.
Google Music is not like iTunes at all, it has all music stored on the internet for you to access using a range of tablets, laptops and phones.

iPad Mini - Advert

The new iPad Mini advert has now been released and featuring on TV now. I first saw this advert showing on the conference (live on the official Apple site) when they released the new iPad (4th Generation) and the iPad Mini. I think that this is the best advert they have ever released and I would love to hear your comments on the video - shown below.
The advert is of a man playing a piece of music called "Heart and Soul" on the piano (played on Garage Band app*) and after a few seconds the iPad Mini is moved up next to the iPad and another person starts to play the other part of the song together on the iPad Mini.

Recent Apple News

Welcome to my Blog - I hope you find it a nice place to find out the latest and my views on the recent news and Apple tech.
Well with the recent update of IOS 6 many Apple costumers were... well, unhappy with the new maps and little tweaks. Apple have though, reassured their costumers that they are working on it. And due to that Apple are rumored to bring out IOS 6.1 very soon within the next few days and I shall update you on that when it is out.
The iPad (4th Generation) too came out recently to many people surprise (just six months after the iPad 3 was announced!) The new iPad is basically an updated version of the iPad 3 - according to some and not really worth the upgrade.
Also the iPhone 5 too was announced recently as well as the highly talked about iPad Mini - were they priced too expensive? Price is key when company's bring out new products and do you think Apple set the price well? The Google Nexus 7 starts at £160 and the iPad Mini £270! Will people pay for the name "Apple" or go with a cheaper tablet"? - we shall see
All these things happened recently before I decided to start this blog and mainly was the reason for me starting it up.
So, I look forward to putting up my new posts and hope that you comment on them so I can see your opinion on the recent Apple kerfuffle - if that's the right word. You can comment on every post at the bottom of each one
Thanks for reading :D - enjoy
